Part-time
Course Description
The General Morning courses at Yorkshire College are popular for students who want to study part-time in the mornings. These courses help you improve your general English skills, with extra focus on speaking.
You will use course books, like Cambridge Empower, Pearson Speak Out, and Oxford English File. These books will help you grow your vocabulary, learn grammar, and practice all the main language skills: speaking, writing, listening, and reading. You will study different topics and learn how to use English in many situations.
In this course, you will study with other students in a group guided by a teacher. Each day, you will have three lessons in the morning. Every Friday, you will take a test on what you learned during the week, and your teacher will give you feedback on your results the same day.
The course lasts for 12 weeks and is open to students from A1 to C1 levels. At the end of the course, if you pass the final test with at least 70%, you will move up to the next level. This course is designed for those who like studying with a course book and want to improve their English in a classroom setting.
